If frequent flyer miles are your thing, then the ANZ Frequent Flyer American Express Classic Card is just for you. A basic credit card featuring one of the most sought after flyer programs in Australia.
Cardholders earn Qantas Frequent Flyer miles on each eligible spend and are privy to a host of benefits made available according to card terms. There is no introductory offer accompanying this offer, however, cardholders are entitled to a 44 day interest free period on all purchases. The purchase and cash advance rates are variable but highly competitive in this case. The card has a 2% or $10 whichever is greater minimum monthly payment. Late payments attract a $35 fee.
On the rewards program cardholders have access to earn additional Qantas Frequent Flyer miles every time they purchase an everyday item. There's no registration fee to participate but cardholders must own valid Qantas Frequent Flyer accounts prior to obtain miles earned. Cardholders without a Qantas Frequent Flyer account can redeem miles earned from several ANZ bonus partners.
This credit card charges a $95 annual fee. Cardholders may order up to 3 additional credit cards for family and friends. Each additional card attracts a $10 fee. Everyday purchases charged to these supplementary cards will also earn rewards similar to the basic/parent card. With ANZ's proprietary Falcon Security cardholders are protected against fraudulent transactions.
With Online account Management cardholders have unrestricted 24hr access to online statements, reward programs, and other features available to existing ANZ cardholders. Features include bill pay, ANZ Money Manager, Internet Banking, and ANZ E*Trade.
The ANZ Frequent Flyer American Express Classic Card is available to residents of Australia subject to passing eligibility criteria and meeting the minimum income requirement. The minimum credit limit is set reasonably at ANZ’s sole discretion. Applicants can apply over the internet or through a local office.
This credit card is separately available on the American Express and Visa card networks. You can get the card on both networks (that's two separate cards tied to a single account). Applicants are privy to a 60 sec response period when applying over the internet.
