The Citibank Australian Business Card is an ideal credit card for business owners who want higher credit limits with which to expand current business operations. The credit card charges moderate interest rates with up to 55 interest free days for new cardholders. Credit limit offered stands as high as $60,000 but the actual credit limit provided depends on credit criteria.

The card encourages business owners who already own other credit cards charging higher rates. For a 6 month period after card issuance cardholders may transfer high interest balance to take advantage of discount rates on balance transfers. Retail purchases and Cash advances incur same interest that may vary from time to time. It's also good to know that balance transfers are to be repaid first.

As a business card deemed to fit the hardworking business owner, this card looks to reward frequent spenders for their usage. Eligible purchases charged to the card will be given 1.25 points per $1 spent. These points continue to accumulate and do not expire until the card account is deactivated. Reward points are useful tool for businesses who want to earn discounted purchasing, merchandise, cash, travel benefits and numerous other rewards on each spend. The speed with which points accumulate will be based on the frequent of spending in acceptable purchase categories.

To give the business an added advantage, the card lets primary cardholders issue a supplementary/additional card to its employees. These cards are linked to the primary account and the controlling/primary cardholder is able to set spending limits on each card. The primary account holder will be billed a $130 annual fee while supplementary cards linked to a primary account are billed $30 annually.

Additional benefits available to cardholders include complimentary business concierge service and free international travel insurance. These services are offered by third parties subject to terms and conditions.
Other advantages such as zero fraud liability, lost or stolen card reporting, emergency card replacement are available from Visa; a widely accepted card network is most destinations around the world.
