The American Express Qantas Premium Credit Card is the ideal card for frequent travellers looking to increase benefits received from their credit card. Cardholders receive the necessary boost to begin earning rewards with up to 17,500 Qantas frequent flyer points available for free. 5,000 points are awarded on the first purchase, while 2,500 is given to those who purchase Qantas product and services in Australia using this card and 10,000 when you spent your first $500 on card.
General retail purchases receive 1.25 Qantas frequent flyer points per dollar spent. Cardholders located in Australia that purchase a Qantas product or service will earn 2.25 points per dollar spent. Points earned accumulate to the Qantas frequent flyer program providing access to a world of travel benefits and privileges.
Cardholders are eligible to two Qantas club invitations with the first spend of each year. Each invitation guarantees one-time free access to a Qantas operated lounges whenever flying with Qantas or Jetstar.
Online account access comes at no extra cost with cardholders gaining admission to their accounts whenever they wish to do so. Travel accident insurance covers cardholders who charge all related expenses to the card account as well as met up to clauses in terms and conditions. Online fraud guarantee protects against liability on unauthorized transactions provided such transactions are reported on time.
AMEX Australia Qantas Premium Credit Card is dedicated to frequent travellers residing in Australia.
